The first-grade students went on a field trip.They visited the fire station and learned about fire safety from the firefighters. They even tried on small firefighter uniforms and sprayed water. They were very thankful for the hard work of the firefighters.

Students and teachers gathered to celebrate their school's 20th birthday. They hung "ema," which are special wooden plaques. On the "ema," they wrote their wishes and blessings. Everyone hoped for a great future for Hsinmin Elementary School and themselves. It was a happy celebration!
